At Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to enjoy a fulfilling career that they love. Unfortunately, many people in Jupiter settle for thankless jobs with no room to grow. If you're stuck in a job just so you can make ends meet, your opportunity to build a better life for yourself is here.
Unlike traditional colleges, DAA provides students with an expedited road to success through hands-on education. Students learn by doing, not by reading lectures. We believe that the most effective way to learn is from an expert with real-world experience. That's exactly what you'll get when you enroll in our dental assisting school in Jupiter, FL.
Established in 2011, DAA makes it possible for driven students to graduate in just eight weeks. People say our courses sound too good to be true compared to the longer programs. But when they see our reviews and walk in that front door, they know they've made the right choice.
The Dental Assisting Academy of Jupiter offers a hybrid, accelerated 8-week entry-level program with hands-on training in a dental lab setting. We host courses in a dental office where students eventually complete 65 clinical externship hours. To make employment easier to achieve for our students, we have partnered with over 175 dental offices across Florida.
The bottom line? We teach our students the skills and techniques involved with orthodontics, pediatrics, surgical procedures, and more. When you join Dental Assisting Academy, a rewarding career and financial freedom are at your fingertips.
They say the best way to predict the future is to create it, and that's precisely what you'll be doing at Dental Assisting Academy. We believe in prepping our students for lifelong careers, not short-term gigs. When you attend our dental assisting school, you're investing in yourself - and the future looks bright!
Unlike some schools, our students enjoy a quick start in the dental industry, especially after completing their externship. Soon after, financial freedom and personal growth follow. Few emotions are as great as having the confidence and knowledge that you're well-prepared for life after graduation.
Here are some of the most common reasons why students choose our dental assisting school in Jupiter:
Excel in a Growing Industry: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that job growth for dental assistants is increasing faster than in other industries. That's great news for both new students and graduates of DAA. You can rest easy knowing the skills you learn at Dental Assisting Academy will last for a lifetime.
Fulfilling Life and Work Balance: Balancing life and work is a problem for many in the United States. Spending every waking hour at the office is draining and even depressing without break time. Unlike other professions, dental assistants usually have normal working hours. That means they have more time to spend with children, friends, and family.
Make a Difference in the Community: Dental assistants in Jupiter play an important role in the dental community. As an ambassador of the profession, our students educate patients about the benefits of proper oral hygiene. Because dental hygiene and heart health are tied together, our graduates even save lives.
Higher Wages: When students graduate and work as dental assistants, many make it their career for life. For others, dental assisting is just the start, and use their schooling to get better-paying roles. With only a few years of experience as dental assistants, our students often become supervisors, office managers, and more. The sky is the limit with DAA!
At DAA, our goal is simple: Give our students access to the very best dental assisting courses and educators in Florida, at reasonable rates. Our school is approved by the Florida Board of Dentistry and Licensed by the Commission of Independent Education, #4801.
Studies have linked poor oral hygiene to serious problems like cancer, cardiovascular disease, bone loss, and strokes. If you're flossing and brushing at home twice a day, that's great. Doing so is the best way to get a leg up on critical oral hygiene problems. However, getting your teeth cleaned by a dental hygienist helps ensure your teeth are thoroughly cleaned, healthy, and protected.
But that's not all. Other reasons that students choose DAA is because we:
Students graduate with an Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certification (EFDA), Radiology Certification, CPR Certification, and BLS Certification. These certifications are valid for General & Specialty dental offices across Florida.
As working professionals, we know your time is valuable and limited. We understand you can't uproot your family and quit your current job to start a new career. That's why we structure our courses around your schedule. Our dental assisting school in Jupiter offers hybrid class formats. These classes allow you to visit our campus once a week while also studying online. That way, you can achieve your goals at your own pace.
Becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant requires more than reading textbooks. We supplement in-class lectures and online education with hands-on drills and skill-building exercises on campus. Hands-on training helps our students master the skills necessary to excel in dental assistant work. Also, by mimicking real-life dental procedures, students get a feel for a professional work environment.
As part of our program, students work off-campus to complete 65 hours of clinical externship experience. Students gain this experience at real dental offices, giving them an incredible opportunity to learn from the best. Because we're partnered with more than 175 dental offices, students are often offered jobs once their externship is completed.
When it comes to decisions, choosing a new career is one of the most monumental choices you'll make. It's not easy, and it can be difficult for working adults while they attend class and study material.
That's why, at DAA, we provide both in-person and online course structures. Unlike some schools, we focus on teaching practical skills that real-world professionals use every day in the office. We're proud that our students don't have to spend energy figuring out confusing lectures or irrelevant tasks.
Instead, they'll learn critical techniques and skills that distinguish them from others, so they can start a new chapter in their life with an edge up on the competition.
When you enroll in our dental assisting school, you will reap the benefits of:
By creating a professional, consistent, and welcoming environment, Dental Assisting Academy helps foster the confidence and curiosity of our students while preparing them for their future. Each day is enriched with hands-on experiences, providing ample opportunities for students to build their knowledge base while developing essential academic skills. We offer three course options, each with its own benefits and structure. Be sure to reserve your spot early - our classes quickly reach capacity.

Life’s a beach.
Bill Belichick helped his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, with acrobatic stunts during their spring break trip to Jupiter Beach in Florida.
On Saturday, the former cheerleader, 23, shared a carousel of pics on Instagram of herself and the ex-NFL coach having some fun in the sun.
In the snaps, Belichick, 72, was seen laying on his back on a towel in the sand as he propelled Hudson into the air by using mainly his legs.
The former NCA collegiate champion, who rocked a white swimsuit with cutouts on the sides, did several poses with her limbs as she was held up by her beau’s elderly legs.
“☀️ #SpringBreak #UsTime #StillGotIt ????????,” she captioned the post.
Several fans took to the comments section to point out how happy the pair seemed to be — despite the constant criticism about their age gap.
“♥️this!! two people that are having an incredible time together who are most likely in love with each other and they have no problem showing it and it’s refreshing,” wrote one user.
“I’m loving this new Bill ????,” added another.
“He is enjoying life with you! ????????,” commented a third person.
Other fans expressed concern over Belichick’s athletic ability due to his age.
“Elderly abuse,” claimed one netizen.
“Dude probably just gave himself a slipped disc or sciatica for like 6 weeks,” added another.
“That’s an old f–king man be careful,” said a third user.
On Friday, Hudson clapped back at an internet troll who criticized her romance with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill football coach.
“But you do realize your relationship is insane, right?” the user, who went by Abby Riley, wrote to Hudson via a direct message on Instagram.
The cosmetology school graduate responded, writing, “But you do realize direct messaging a stranger on Instagram with the intent of harassing them regarding their own personal relationship is insane, right?”
She then asked her followers, “Which one is poorer? Abby’s manners or Abby’s punctuation skills.”
Hudson and Belichick exchanged numbers when they met on a flight in 2021 after he reportedly autographed her textbook.
The Bridgewater State University graduate and the eight-time Super Bowl champ were spotted together for the first time in January 2023.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH — Living among golf royalty comes with its perks.
Which is why Sahith Theegala, a world top 20 golfer, has become the latest PGA Tour professional to make his home in what Jordan Spieth recently labeled a "golf mecca."
Theegala, 27, is leaving Houston after a short stay and is in the process of settling in Jupiter, where he will join a who's who in the industry. Theegala's desire to practice and play with his peers, and his connection to TGL, the indoor golf league played in Palm Beach Gardens, made this decision easy.
"The facilities in the Jupiter area are incredible," Theegala said. "There's a reason why all the guys are there. They don't have to work hard for any resources."
Theegala, who recently dropped to No. 21 in the world after a year in the top 20, joins seven top 20s and more than 60 PGA Tour and LIV golfers who call the area home. He is playing out of Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens and hopes to find a secondary course soon. Justin Thomas is a partner at Panther National and helped design the course with Jack Nicklaus.
Theegala raised the "iron sharpens iron" theory when talking about the move.
"I just felt like I would have more competition when I'm at home," said Theegala, who is making his fourth Players Championship start Thursday. "Play with a bunch more guys on Tour, and a little more community. Houston was great. We got great guys, but just felt like this is the right time to get (to Jupiter)."
Theegala was raised in Chino Hills, California, and moved to Houston with girlfriend Julianna "Juju" Chan during his rookie season on the PGA Tour. Theegala and Chan met at Pepperdine, where Theegala was a three-time All-American golfer and Chan was on the swimming team.
The move to Houston was more for Theegala to be with friends and play more golf as the country was coming out of COVID. But he and Juju were looking for something more permanent and only one spot seemed natural.
Palm Beach County is a magnet for professional golfers with its weather, facilities and, of course, tax breaks. Just in recent years names such as Matt Fitzpatrick, Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele and Victor Hovland have joined longstanding residents Brooks Koepka, Daniel Berger, Rickie Fowler, Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Keegan Bradley, Dustin Johnson and Thomas.
A true brotherhood, and competition, has formed. When Fowler was preparing to play Theegala in a recent TGL singles match, he mentioned beating him to "welcome him to the neighborhood."
"We're not that close," Theegala said when asked if he lived close to Fowler. "But same area. A lot of guys are in that area."
Throughout the year a list of pro golfers that the Cognizant Classic would envy could be making a wager at Nicklaus' Bear's Club or Panther National or Dye Preserve or Medalist.
For Theegala, being around peers at home who have succeeded at the highest level "normalizes everything" when it comes to life on the Tour.
"I'm still pretty new to the Tour and playing in a lot of the big events, seeing a lot of those guys off the golf course, during a big week, mentally makes it easier for me to just look at them as a peer and a friend, rather than one of the best players in the world, someone who I watched on TV," Theegala said.
"It's really great to have friends that you travel with, but also see back at home."
And as a member of the Los Angels Golf Club, that travel is a lot easier for the TGL season. Los Angeles plays New York in the first TGL playoff game Monday at SoFi Center.
Cognizant Classic champion Joe Highsmith and Theegala were teammates at Pepperdine. Theegala was finishing up a practice round for the Masters at Augusta the Sunday of Cognizant when he caught the end of the tournament.
The win was Highsmith's first on the PGA Tour, which means northern Palm Beach County now is holding a spot.
"I was always kind of saying, you know, maybe once I had some success, I would eventually make that Jupiter move, but we'll see," said Highsmith, who is making his first Players Championship start this week. "I got a long ways to go before I can probably afford what I want down there.
"But I don't blame him for making the move. I mean, that's where a lot of the guys go, and I think at some point I'll maybe make the move down there, too."
